After reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki, I've registered myself for an ASX seminar in Melbourne in a few weeks time. I hope to receive some good advice, perspective and insight.

I really like Julia Gillard.
Sure she has huge earlobes and sounds like Kath and Kim, but she's committed and know's what's up.
I feel sorry for the self-absorbed questions and criticism people throw at her.
She copes well.
She can laugh at herself.
She's got my vote.

The biggest problem for me is not wanting to go to things...
It's the thought I dislike;
gym, work, school, bed etc
Once I'm there however it's a different story,
It's not so bad.

I figured if I wrote it out on my blog it'd give me more kick to get stuff done.

Expect a heap more, my apologies.

To do today:

- Finish swim course question and get mother off my back.
- Organise for Bass to be recorded w/Simon at Trailer prac.
- Organise singing lessons with Hayden.
- Finish book.

To do today/tomorrow:

- Put all the idea's in my head on to paper.
- Find Troy's books.
- Try record vocals to the three disclosure songs.

Reminder/thoughts/notes:

Write more blogs that are deep and meaningful, I've been so lazy and there's so much I want to get out and explain/discuss from all the books I've been reading.
I guess it's harder than on internet where I just find, like, copy paste, I've been meaning to go through A New Earth and discuss a range of issues and write a down a heap of quotes.
I liked when I used to come home from school with a new blog idea and just write...
or sit down and just start writing a cute little impulsive poem.
Also... I need to go quote surfing more regularly... I love good quotes.

Troy quoted that yesterday when Madison and I went to visit him, already I've found myself saying it under my breath observing a variety of situations.
All people, all ego, all anticipation, all blame and no acceptance.
Tonight I applied some of my understandings into helping a young girl at swimming going through a rough time.
I just tried to offer her some perspective and I think/hope she appreciated it...
It's hard to tell with those things... Something I said could be that pivotal moment of change in one's life for the better, or it could go straight over their head.
That's why I'm really trying to feed off Troy's every word... and he has many words, just ask Madison... she experienced it ;)
He's so good at pointing things out to me, he is Jones from the noticer...
He notices, he offers perspective.
I don't think I could ever quite repay him for the path he's set me on.
Book after book he's slowly broadening my awareness and understanding on things I would never have though of... If I think I'm not narrow minded now just wait a few months.
I'm going to quote him again from memory, something he said yesterday that hit home;

I joked and said to Madison I should become his Deciple and maybe one day he'd be Jesus.
He gave me a list of books he wouldn't mind me tracking down on the web as he doesn't have a computer/net... they're all phycology books.
I'm loving the book I'm reading at the moment... "Rich Dad Poor Dad".
Already it's got me thinking and scheming in my head.

Madison stayed at mine for four nights it was awesome. I thought these photo's were shit but they actually turned out alright. Did I mention I got my new lens? I'll post a new blog of new lens photo's soon, the below isn't 50mm, but there's a couple on madisons facebook in which I used it.

Scarlett just jumped up on me and is now above the screen on the higher shelf staring at me. Cutie.
I've been a bit sick lately but my life has been drenched with music which has been splendid.
I'm keen to record some vocals, hoping to wake up with a non-sore throat tomorrow.
Recorded three ahs artist now, it's been really good for everyone and great exposure for me, I'll be uploading a few of the songs soon in which I'll post a link if anyone even reads this shit.
My facebook strike has been going alright.
One week.
I will use it again, but it'll be in very small doses, I need to start being a man of action, an ambassador for life...
not facebook.

Ps. The Maine's new album rules just as much as all their old stuff.

Recording Central.

Lately if I haven't been recording my bands I've been recording other bands.
Sleepwalker did an unplanned two track demo with me which hopefully they'll be posting on their myspace soon.
Sam "Surrender" Wright recorded some vocals to his hip-hop track... Check it!
Also today was the first session/track of the Albury High School album which I'm recording.
Jimi Fischer went first which was good as we're good friends and it was chill and a good test run of how I will operate things.
I've spent 11hours on this song haha so please tell me what you think quality wise and musical wise to Jimi!

Was on Nickelodeon just before and there was the biggest babe ever, on the show Saddie, real life Laura Vandervoort. I couldn't find any pictures that did her justice as to how she was looking this episode but dang!
The show seemed like a try-hard Gossip Girl, not that I was paying attention... turns out it was Canadian produced between 2004-08 so technically they're ahead of Gossip girl haha but turns out it's nothing like it.
