These were the first few breaths he breathed with utter fear.

A voice inside his head then whispered in his ear.

"You need to seek us now. You need to leave her here."

So with a silent kiss, he said "I love you dear."

A tear trickled down his face as he turned away. 

"She's not ready to come home, but she'll find you in her heart, 

she'll have to wait until the end becomes the start"

So with that he ran from it all.

The chaos, destruction, a world at fall.

Turns out heart is where the home is and this was not his heart at all.

These were the last few breaths he breathed with any fear.

The voice inside his head said "Time to disappear."

With that he awakened from his life, like waking from a dream, 

except this dream was his new reality.

"They're not ready to come home but they'll find you in their heart, 
they'll have to wait until the end becomes the start"

Turns out heart is where the home is for us all...

And that was not our heart, no not our home at all.
